A large part of what I do is speak on suicide, depression, and self-harm, and train people in suicide intervention. If you are here because of one of my talks, thank you for reaching out. Many of us don’t talk much about mental illness. But there is hope. There is healing. There is wholeness to be found.
Please watch my story and feel free to share it.
If you are having thoughts of suicide, please talk to someone. You do not have to suffer alone. There is always hope. Suicide is NOT the answer.
Many people experience thoughts of suicide, battle depression, or have some behaviours or coping mechanisms that are harmful to themselves and destructive their relationships. It’s important to talk about these things.

I want to provide you with two of the best resources I have come across:
SuicidePrevention.ca – Having thoughts of suicide? Concerned about a friend? Looking for resources? This is the best Canadian website for help and information.
Hashtag Hope – Started by someone I lived with in college, Hashtag Hope exists across social media platforms to offer hope and help for teenagers struggling with thoughts of suicide, worthlessness, and with depression/anxiety. The blog is particularly good.
